To me, photography is an art form. Both man and nature provide a lot for us to observe. By capturing the observation and displaying it, the photographer helps one see the often overlooked beauty all around. The observations in the form of photos are grouped into three categories: landscape, abstract, and quotidian. In landscapes I tend to see see things on a smaller scale; thus I'm seeing small areas of beauty within a larger scene. Abstracts come out of the many ways nature paints and forms abstract shapes, as well as from architecture and sculpture. Quotidian, meaning everyday, beauty can be found everywhere, but it is often overlooked.
