On Easter my wife and I attended a "Flower Service" at a Unitarian Church in Escondido.  You bring a flower and leave with a different flower.  The service speaks to diversity.  Here is the flower that I left the service with:

That afternoon I set out to create an abstract image using the blossom.


To obtain this image I used flexible Mylar that had a mirror finish.  It was loosely attached to mat board.  Since it was not flat and was blown by the wind, it created ever changing images, of which this is one.  This looks even better upside down.
