After being caught up in to too much daily busyness, I finally got over to Moonlight Beach a day.  The camera accompanied me prepared to shoot closeup.  Beautiful day with with just a touch too much sun.

Here is one of the unedited images:

The problems are obvious: too dark and too much clutter.  With a little work in Camera Raw, this is what resulted:


Now the reasons why I took the picture become apparent:  textures, lines, and shapes.   At least three textures are apparent. There are two parallel lines formed diagonally by the shapes.  Colors work well together.
